Welcome to the country of Moirland! This is a medieval fantasy role play with dragons and fairies and elves and magic and anything else you can possibly imagine. The possabilities are endless, as you are welcomed to role play nearly any species you want. We try to keep the global plot generalized so that smaller character plots can function within. Any questions should be directed to the admin. Hope to see you around! - Seraphim

CHILDREN DISSAPEARING
There have been many reports of children dissapearing from families. They are usually children of poorer families, and though human children are dissapearing more frequently, we have started to see missing faerie children, elf children and Dwarf children as well. Some people fear that Avrix is behind this, though her reason for taking the children is still unknown.

>> mist of silence.

The Sophia Mountain Range was silent, save for the occasional screech of a hawk as it floated along on the updrafts, but even that was muted. A light mist floated just above the pines. Hard emerald green eyes scanned the mountainside, and the gryphon steadied himself on his perch, a rather unstable evergreen that towered above the rest. His overlarge mule ears flicked slightly, trying to detect a stray sound that might indicate a meal. His claws extended from his paws, trying to maintain a steady grip on the rough bark of the tree as it swayed slightly under his weight. Even the small scratching sound they made as he readjusted his position seemed strangely loud. His long tail flicked through the air impatiently, being able to sense nothing.

Nando crouched down slightly and leaped off of the branch, leaving it bouncing precariously behind him. He extended his long tapered wings, which opened like a parachute and caught his weight. Pushing them downward through the air, he gained altitude. A warm updraft came from beneath him, and he coasted for a while, enjoying the opportunity to relax a little. He leaned slightly to the right, changing his direction as he glided over the treetops. He pumped his wings again to keep above them as he continued to run his searching gaze over the land, looking for anything that could end up being a meal for him, or even just something out of the ordinary that he could report back to the clan.

Silence. Nothing but sound of trees swaying in a gentle wind. The same wind that moved the pine trees provided lift for the young, teal coloured dragon that tore across the sky. Energy coursed through her veins as she careened through the peaks of the lower mountains, maneuvering with haphazard grace that would have caused her trainers to hold their breath with worry. It was stupid stunts like this that got her confined to the barn for days on end, but not even a tiny flicker of this thought passed through her mind, which was completely and totally consumed with the rapture of the moment. Her mind couldn't really seem to focus on anything but the feel of the wind under the thin membrane of her wing, and moving fluidly across the streamlined shape of her body.

Talia often took this route through the mountains, feeling connected to the scenery and drawn to the tall, illusive peaks of the rocky formations. There wasn't normally many other creatures in the mountain range, and few of the other dragons chose to follow her. She was alone. Or, that was what she thought. As she plummeted below the condensation line, beads of water running down her teal coloured scales, she caught sight of a brown figure out of the corner of her eye. Hurriedly, Talia whipped her head around to catch sight of the oddest creature she had ever seen. It was overall goldish-brown in colour, with large wings that were feathered like those of a bird. It was much to large to be a bird, and was closer to the size of a very young dragon.

Talia, being curious by nature, circled around and began to trail the odd creature at a distance. If it was a dragon, it was the strangest looking dragon she had ever seen. None of the dragons she knew had feathers and fur...of course she hadn't seen many dragons, and so it was possible that some dragons did have feathers and fur. She had no way of knowing.
In all her curiosity and wonderment, Talia didn't hesitate in following the strange dragon. She didn't worry about her own safety, being overly trusting of everything in the world and ignorant to danger and petty things like that. If her trainers found out what she had been doing, she might wonder if she would ever see the light of day again.
