CHILDREN DISSAPEARING
There have been many reports of children dissapearing from families. They are usually children of poorer families, and though human children are dissapearing more frequently, we have started to see missing faerie children, elf children and Dwarf children as well. Some people fear that Avrix is behind this, though her reason for taking the children is still unknown.

INTRODUCTION
The history of this land is an old tale, and I will tell it to you as it has been told to me by the land itself. I am no weaver of words, but simply someone who has heard all sides of the story and is able to present it in its pure form, untouched by the biased nature of others. You should anticipate great sorrows from this tale, you should anticipate deep wounds and forbidden love. You should watch carefully, because I will now paint for you the image of how this started, how it proceeded, and where we have been left off.
The Reign of Edward I
We will begin a long ways back in time, when the land was young and our country was in its prime youth. The landscape was fresh, as though a canvas just painted by an artist. The colours were vibrant, not having had time to fade, and the air was pure, the water untouched. Wide fields of yellow dipped into valleys of emerald green. Streams, crystal clear, ran down the crevices of blue mountains tipped with white of fresh snow. The forests stood tall, the trees ancient with thick trunks and wide spread leaves that cast strange, moving shadows all over the rich dirt that covered the forest floors. The castle of Briista was already built, and the first king of Moirland in good control of the country and its inhabitance. His name was Edward, and he was a good man, and a fine ruler. Things were looking good, times were as easy as times could be. Edward I was a human, but his wife, Kaai was an elf. This made the elves and humans (though the elves slightly more so) a little bit edgy. Though not all elves and humans disliked the other race, (in fact most of the time the two races got along quite well) marriage was still seen as slightly 'unnatural'. Perhaps the marriage was for the best since the elves would have wanted one of their own kind to be in royal position. The king was a fair man, and he agreed to have one being from each race come together to form a group known as 'the Council'. There was always a Human, an Elf, a Faerie and later on even a Dragon on this council, which was a very important political move to keep the kingdom at peace.
The Reign of Denevon
A son was born to Edward I and Kaai, and was named Denevon. He was the second king of Moirland, and though he wasn't as good a ruler as his father, he was kind and fair. At the death of his father, who had been loved by all, the kingdom fell into a sort of chaos for a while that took a long time to sort out. The council was loyal to Denevon, but some of his people weren't. With help from the council, peace took reign again without any serious damage caused. The only fights that broke out were a couple riots in the streets that were settled by the castle guard. It was in the time of Denevon that Avrix was first made apparent to Moirland. She was of elven blood, but was corrupted and cast out of society. She was of stunning beauty, but had no compassion for anything, least of all the people of Moirland. Avrix took to watching the royalty of Moirland. She watched as Denevon married to lady Mia and as they brought their daughter Sarah into the world, and later their son Edward. When she made her attack, she had killed Sarah in front of the eyes of Mia and Edward. Avrix had been then beaten, but not killed, and none have seen her since that day. Perhaps it was the humiliation of being beaten that caused her to stay hidden, but many anticipate her return in the future.
The Plague
The age of the plague was a dark time indeed, where the streets were littered with dead bodies and the air held a foul stench of death. The kingdom mourned the death of Lady Mia who, at 30, had been killed off by the plague. For a long time, Moirland seemed to be controlled by this illness, and the cure was sought after feverishly. It was a horrible time of loss and famine, money was little, food was scarce. Of course, something like this can not last forever, and eventually wore off and some cures that seemed to assist managed to stay off the illness. This was all nearing the end of the reign of Denevon and soon his son Edward took over the throne.
The Reign of Edward II
Edward II is the third, and current ruler of Moirland. He is the king that led Moirland in battle against the country of Yadstruth, a country who's single goal seemed to be to wipe out the Elvish nation. Moirland being a diverse country, supporting all races and ideas, opposed almost immediately to this issue. The battle resulted in Yadstruth being forced into submission after many long years of fighting and death. In Edward II's time, he married to Lady Rosalie, and fathered Kayne, who is currently in line for the throne. Edwards reign now is coming to an end, though he is still the current king of Moirland. His son Kayne is in line for the throne, but many races are anxious to see one of their kind on the throne, rather than one of human blood. Kayne has a bit of Elf left in his blood, but not enough to really content any of the other races in Moirland. Kayne's life is in danger and the stability of the kingdom at jeopardy. This is where we are left off, and the story shall continue.
